Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards 2021
The Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards is known to be the benchmark for excellence, recognising the outstanding women influencing the legal profession in Australia displaying key leadership qualities and providing a role model for future female leaders in law to aspire to.
This incredible event was created to celebrate the women taking charge and influencing change within the industry and provides a platform for women leading in their field to be acknowledged for their achievements and contributions to the industry as we collectively join the charge for a more gender-balanced world.
The finalist list, which was announced on 12 October 2021, features 295 high-achieving professionals within the legal industry, across 31 submission-based categories.
Thought Leader of the Year Award
This is the second year in a row that Tegan has been honoured to have been named as a finalist for the Thought Leader of the Year Award.
This award recognises a female lawyer within the Australian legal profession who has shown a long-term passion and aptitude for improving the industry. This professional is able to clearly articulate the desired direction of the industry and draw upon best practice from other relevant industries and markets to champion growth and development of the sector.
Innovator of the Year Award
This year, Tegan has also been named as a finalist for the Innovator of the Year Award (Individual).
This award recognises the female lawyer who has most effectively developed and capitalised on innovation opportunities within the legal industry.
Award Ceremony
The 2021 Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards will be held at 7pm AEDT on Thursday, 25 November 2021 at The Star, Sydney.
